Interview With A 3.5 Year Old

On a whim today, when I was desperate to entertain Lyla, I popped her on my lap in front of my laptop and said, “Let me interview you!” She willingly agreed. Not only does she love to talk, but she also finds great joy in pressing on the computer keys, which was her reward for answering each question. Enjoy 😉

Q: What makes you giggle?

A: Silly things. Scary things like monsters and shadows at night time make me scared.

Q: What helps when you’re scared?

A: Medicine. Really strong medicine.

Q: Where do you get it?

A: From Skye from the control tower.

Q: Do you feel better with medicine?

A: Yes, even if I’m sick at night time, Skye helps me. They’re my friends so they help me.

Q: Is Daddy the strongest person you know?

A: Yes.

Q: What does he do?

A: He can lift pianos and he can even lift really heavy tires. And really big tree branches.

Q: Who is Jesus?

A: The Lord. God is the Lord. Jesus was born in a temple, I mean farm.

Q: Do you ever pray?

A: Yes. I pray if Mom’s sick.

Q: What do you do after time out?

A: Be nice, say sorry and then you can play.

Q: Do you know what forgiveness is?

A: Yes. It’s when you forgive.

Q: What’s the funniest thing about Luke?

A: When he laughs.

Q: What do you want to be when you’re bigger?

A: A doctor.

Q: Who is your best friend?

A: Aubree Mae.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Ginger?

A: Giving her dog food and treats.

Q: Do you like snow or the pool better?

A: Snow.

Q: What’s your favorite song?

A: Twinkle, twinkle little star.

Q: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Applesauce.

Q: What makes you mad?

A: When Luke steals things from me.

Q: What do you do?

A: Tell my parents that and then they say “No no no no no no no Luke!”

This is what our interview looked like. Haha! I never know what’s going to come out of her mouth. She didn’t do a very good job waiting for her turn to type, as you can tell!

And that’s all I have today- just a little giggle inspired by a three and a half year old! If you want to see a more in-depth post about how my little sweetie encourages me, you can check out The Eyes Of A Child.
